TROUBLE IN RUNNING

EXCELLENCE VALUE (K093) approaching the 800M became unbalanced when crowded - Race 009.

TRUE BROTHERS (L381) jumped awkwardly and made contact with the right side of the starting gate. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 030.

CHILL PARTNERS (K484) between the 400M and the 300M was held up for clear running - Race 824.

NOBLE PATCH (L282) bumped at the start. Rider stated that the intention was to ride the horse in a more conservative manner but when a number of runners to his outside did not continue forward that resulted in his mount holding a more forward position than anticipated - Race 008.

PRESTIGE COME (L261) jumped awkwardly. Leaving the 1100M became unbalanced when being steadied. Hung in when placed under pressure in the Home Straight. Rider reported that his mount raced greenly throughout the event - Race 823.

SOLID CAR (K058) raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event - Race 008.

SILVERY KNIGHT (L236) shifted out at the start and was bumped - Race 734.

PRESIDENT PEGASUS (L241) shifted in abruptly at the start and was corrected by its rider - Race 790.

ALABAMA SONG (K480) raced keenly in the early stages and leaving the 1000M shifted in when being checked. Rider stated that his mount raced too keenly during the event and as a result did not finish the race off in the Home Straight. He added, in his opinion, his mount would be better suited by being dropped back to 1200M with a more genuine pace. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 850.

FRANCIS MEYNELL (J394) jumped awkwardly. Rider stated that his mount travelled satisfactorily outside the lead but when pressured from the 500M failed to respond to his riding and gave ground in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 012.

STAR SATYR (K231) from the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. For some distance near the 100M was held up for clear running - Race 008.

POSITIVE SMILE (J467) when questioned regarding the horse racing in a more forward position rider stated that whilst the instructions were to be midfield his mount commenced better than usual which resulted in it holding an on-pace position. He said when a number of runners to his outside did not continue forward that resulted in his mount racing keenly and the horse settling outside the lead. He added as a consequence his mount was unable to finish the race off. Trainer confirmed the instructions were to hold a midfield position. He said the horse was not suited by settling outside the lead. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 008.
