Recap by phillip woo

Firming to jump the odds-on favourite, Megastar Heart tracked the speed from gate one, cruised to the lead 350m out and was much too smart in a class record time for backto- back wins this term. He has the tools to head higher. PI Legend ran on nicely near the inside for second after a rails run from midfield. He's an honest and versatile performer across both surfaces. Mask Warrior stayed on well for third after a prominent run on the fence. It was a good first run in Hong Kong. Lucrative Eight ran on steadily for fourth after a wide with cover trip travelling midfield from gate 11. It was an improved effort.
