TROUBLE IN RUNNING

SPLENDID FORCE (K120) near the 200M was steadied. Rider stated that his mount may not have run out the 2200M of the event. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 726.

KOLACHI (J395) post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 694.

SMART CITY (J213) shortly after the start shifted out slightly and made contact with a runner. Leaving the 1400M was briefly tightened when racing in restricted room. Rider stated that whilst his mount travelled well throughout the early and middle stages, when he became concerned there may have been something amiss with his mount near the 500M, he elected to ease his mount out of the event. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Finished tailed out and performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam which must include additional diagnostic assessments and the additional diagnostic assessments performed on the horse did not reveal any significant findings - Race 665.

LUCKY BLESSING (K073) when being shifted in to obtain the lead passing the 1500M became unbalanced when positioned close to the running rail. Finished 7th and rider was nonetheless reminded of his obligation to ensure that he fully rides his mounts out to the finish of the race. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 626.

PERFECT PAIRING (J331) on jumping was crowded - Race 726.

ALL ARE MINE (H293) rider reported that his mount raced keenly in the lead and refused to settle. He said the horse, in his opinion, would be better suited by being dropped back in distance for its next race start. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Performance was considered disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 726.

DRAGON SUNRISE (J269) approaching the 1500M was steadied when crowded. Approaching the 400M lay in and made contact with a runner. Rider could offer no excuse for the horse's failure to run on in the Home Straight. Trainer stated that the horse had pleased him leading into the race but could offer no excuse for its performance. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 685.

GOLD TACK (H106) when questioned rider stated that her instructions were to go forward. She said in the early stages when positioned to the outside of a runner she was anticipating that horse to shift to the rail which would allow her mount to obtain a position with cover. She said when runners held their positions to her inside in the early stages she was obliged to race wide and without cover for the remainder of the event. When questioned if there was an opportunity to go forward and cross a runner having regard to the middle stages being run outside of standard time rider stated that she was reluctant to urge her mount forward as she did not feel it was travelling well enough and that when she realised she was not able to get cover it was getting close to the field turning out of the Back Straight - Race 694.

MR ALADDIN (H386) on jumping shifted out and made contact with a runner - Race 726.

SMART BEAUTY (G477) from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages - Race 726.
