Favourite Incredible Moment settled third on the fence before assuming the lead 100m out and edging clear for a second win from 19 starts. He was able to build on a second first up this term for his new trainer. Parrot Blessing rushed home late along the inside to grab second after making his run two from the rear. It was clearly his best effort from five starts following a switch to the Valley. Vigor Eye stayed on well for third after a handy run one off the fence. It was an improved effort over a more suitable distance at his second start this term. Firming late in betting, New Power rallied for fourth after easing out of a battle for the front to settle one-off travelling midfield 800m out. It was a good effort carrying more weight following a win. Country Pride faded after working hard early.

Race Three : (150) - HUIZHOU HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters

Horse No 4 INCREDIBLE MOMENT (K275) C Y Ho Shifted out at the start and made contact with VIGOR EYE.

Passing the 600 Metres was steadied to avoid COUNTRY PRIDE (A Atzeni) which shifted in when not sufficiently clear.

A Atzeni was severely reprimanded.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 5 RUN RUN SUNRISE (K552) H Bentley On jumping became unbalanced when contacted by LUCKY TWENTY which shifted in abruptly.

Near the 500 Metres was hampered when taken wider by VIGOR EYE which shifted out when being steadied to avoid INCREDIBLE MOMENT.

Horse No 6 VIGOR EYE (L068) L Ferraris Bumped at the start.

Near the 500 Metres shifted out when being steadied to avoid INCREDIBLE MOMENT.

Near the 150 Metres made contact with COUNTRY PRIDE due to both runners shifting ground.

Again near the 100 Metres VIGOR EYE and COUNTRY PRIDE made contact due to both runners shifting ground, resulting in VIGOR EYE becoming unbalanced, shifting in and its rider L Ferraris having to correct his mount.

Horse No 8 COUNTRY PRIDE (L325) A Atzeni Near the 150 Metres made contact with VIGOR EYE due to both runners shifting ground.

Again near the 100 Metres COUNTRY PRIDE and VIGOR EYE made contact due to both runners shifting ground.

When questioned A Atzeni stated that the instructions were to go forward and settle in a position similar to its most recent start.

He said as a result he rode his mount along in the early stages and when positioned to the outside of LUCKY TWENTY he initially was content to remain racing wide to the outside of LUCKY TWENTY.

He said when COUNTRY PRIDE then commenced to race keenly he elected to allow his mount to stride forward approaching the 700 Metres to cross the runners to his inside.

He added when improving into the lead he was obliged to make some use of his mount to cross INCREDIBLE MOMENT which he attributed to the horse not leading before in its races.

Trainer J Size confirmed the instructions issued.

Noted to have lost its left hind plate after the race.

Horse No 9 LEAN ERA (L297) C L Chau On jumping was checked when crowded by LUCKY TWENTY which shifted in abruptly despite being corrected by its rider.

Approaching the 500 Metres hung out across SUPREME DATA and as a result was steadied to avoid SUPREME DATA.

C L Chau reported that the instructions were to hold a more forward position but his mount settled back in the field after being checked at the start.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm.

Before being allowed to race again, LEAN ERA will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Horse No 10 PARROT BLESSING (L063) H T Mo Jumped only fairly.

Shortly after the start was steadied when crowded between RUN RUN SUNRISE and SOMELOVEFROMABOVE which shifted out slightly.

Noted to have sustained a minor laceration to the right hip.

Sent for sampling post-race.

Horse No 12 LUCKY TWENTY (K392) Y L Chung Shifted in abruptly at the start and made heavy contact with LEAN ERA.

Y L Chung stated that after holding an on-pace position in the early stages his mount weakened noticeably over the final 200 Metres but could offer no explanation for its disappointing performance.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Before being allowed to race again, LUCKY TWENTY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
