Recap by phillip woo

Raging favourite Falcon Hunter travelled in the box seat before hitting the lead 200m out and proving too smart for a maiden win at his 11th start. The move to in-form apprentice Nichola Yuen worked the oracle after seconds in back-to-back runs. Noble Fans ran on nicely though the centre for second after making his run three back on the fence. He was a winner four runs back and was fitter on the back of three starts. Always Fluke stayed on for third after a speed-tracking run outside Beauty Gemini. He relished a return to the course and distance of a length fifth two runs ago.
