Horse No 1 SELF IMPROVEMENT (H337) P N Wong Shifted out at the start and bumped LUCY IN THE SKY.
Horse No 3 LUCY IN THE SKY (J275) C L Chau Bumped at the start.

Horse No 4 BUSTLING CITY (L210) B Avdulla Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 STRAIGHT TO GLORY (K340) K C Leung Shortly after the start shifted out and bumped CAUSEWAY KING.
Horse No 7 MUST GO (J133) A Atzeni A Atzeni could offer no explanation for his mount's disappointing performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 8 CAUSEWAY KING (L196) H Y Yuen Shortly after the start was bumped by STRAIGHT TO GLORY.
Apprentice H Y Yuen reported that her mount was obliged to race very wide and without cover throughout the event and as a result was left without a finishing effort in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 RED SEA (L195) K Teetan K Teetan reported that his mount came under pressure from the 600 Metres and weakened noticeably in the Home Straight.

The performance of RED SEA was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, RED SEA will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 10 ZHUANG YUAN GLORY (L546) A Badel Approaching the 250 Metres raced tight to the inside of SKY CAP when endeavouring to improve to that runner's inside.

Raging favourite Bustling City led, shook off a challenge from Lucy In The Sky and edged clear under a hand-and heels ride for a third win and second from four consecutive starts following a switch to dirt racing. Lucy In The Sky kept on gamely after prompting the pace to finish a clear-cut second. He's racing well across both surfaces this term. Sky Cap just got the bob down for third after a one-off trip from better than midfield. He was able to build on a fourth when retrying the dirt 1,200m earlier this month. Blazing Wind just failed to get up for third after a wide with cover trip from midfield. It was a better effort on his return to the dirt 1,200m second up this term. Straight To Glory ran on late near the outside for fifth after making his run fourth last from 10. It was an okay effort at his first start on the surface. Notthesillyone kept on one paced after a handy run wide without cover from gate five. Zhuang Yuan Glory made a mild bid after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He is still acclimatising to local racing. Causeway King will sleep well after sitting three wide without cover near the front.
