Race Two : (129) - LUKFOOK JEWELLERY WEDDING COLLECTION HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1400Meters
Horse No 1 APOLAR FIGHTER (J169) L Hewitson Jumped awkwardly.
Shortly after the start was steadied to avoid MULTISUPERSTAR which was taken out.
From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 2 TYCOON EXPRESS (K376) E C W Wong Shifted out at the start and was bumped.
From a wide barrier was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 BRIGHT INHERITANCE (J215) H Bentley Slow to begin.
Horse No 4 GOR GOR (K104) K Teetan Between the 300 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running behind MANYTHANKS FOREVER.
After improving to the inside of MANYTHANKS FOREVER passing the 200 Metres then had some difficulty obtaining clear running near the 100 Metres.
Horse No 5 VIGOR ELLEEGANT (J375) C L Chau C L Chau reported that his mount was disadvantaged by being obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event, particularly with the middle stages being run inside of standard time.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer" which had previously been reported.
Horse No 6 INCANTO STAR (K343) B Avdulla Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 7 PRESTIGE SUPERIOR (K383) R Kingscote Jumped only fairly.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 MULTISUPERSTAR (L163) L Ferraris On jumping became unbalanced when bumped by SUPREME WINNER which was taken out by TYCOON EXPRESS.
Between the 400 Metres and the 200 Metres was held up for clear running.
After the 200 Metres improved into a narrow run between VIGOR ELLEEGANT and THE CONCENTRATION and then raced tight between those two runners for a short distance thereafter.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 11 GROOVY FEELING (J515) Y L Chung Y L Chung stated that the instructions were to settle the horse where comfortable.
He said in the early stages he elected to position his mount behind MANYTHANKS FOREVER, however, GROOVY FEELING did not show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position.
Horse No 12 ONLY U (J037) Z Purton When questioned Z Purton stated that after jumping reasonably well he rode his mount along to endeavour to hold a handy position.
He said when positioned to the inside of SUPREME WINNER in the early stages he was unable to hold that position despite his efforts to encourage his mount to do so.
He said entering the Home Straight he improved to the inside of SUPREME WINNER but then was unable to obtain clear running over the final 250 Metres when held up behind GOR GOR.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 13 SUPREME WINNER (J255) A Badel Bumped on jumping.
Between the 400 Metres and the 300 Metres was held up for clear running.

Drifting in betting Tycoon Express was given a patient ride and ran on nicely to take control 60m out for a maiden win at his seventh start. He will go straight back up into Class Four. Incanto Star finished well for second after a wide with cover trip travelling behind midfield. He relished a return to the class of a neck fifth at his penultimate start. Punted late Draco stayed on nicely for third after a wide with cover trip from midfield. He has performed well in back-to-back runs after an opening success this term. Manythanks Forever had to settle for fourth after going for home on top following a handy run.
