Race Seven : (125) - SWIFTY HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 HEALTHY HEALTHY (H203) A Atzeni Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 2 MALPENSA (K545) J Orman Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 GOLDEN ACE (L461) B Avdulla Lay in when placed under pressure in the Home Straight.

A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 5 KOL (L319) Z Purton After being crossed by TOP TO SKY near the 800 Metres commenced to race keenly and shifted out when being steadied to avoid TOP TO SKY.
When under pressure near the 200 Metres was steadied when crowded between HEALTHY HEALTHY and MALPENSA, both of which shifted ground.
Z Purton stated that his mount, which was having its first race start at Happy Valley, raced ungenerously and would derive benefit from tonight's experience on the Happy Valley circuit.
Trainer D A Hayes stated that he had expected the horse to perform well, particularly as it had previously trialed at Happy Valley.
He said subsequent to the comments of Jockey Purton he would now look to start the horse at Sha Tin at its next race start.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 6 SPICY BONUS (L086) L Ferraris Jumped only fairly.

Recap by phillip woo
Well-backed Malpensa responded nicely from midfield near the outside to get up 50m out for a second win at his maiden Valley run from eight career starts. It was a good training feat at his first run following a heart irregularity in May. Post-time favourite Quick Contribution came with a bold move down the outside for second after making his run five back and one off the fence. He continues to race well across both tracks without winning. Forza Leader rallied well for third after a rails run from behind midfield. He has run well in each of his three Valley 1,200m runs from four outings this term. Copartner Fleet stayed on for fourth after a handy run along the inside from gate one. He proved a long-priced fourth 17 days ago over 1,400m was not a fluke. Top To Sky succumbed over the last 100m following a speed-tracking run outside Enjoy Golf from gate 11. Golden Ace ran on without threatening after making his run third last from gate nine. It wasn't a bad run with a step up to 1,200m but the lightly raced four-year-old is still a work in progress. Early favourite Kol found next to nothing following a box-seat run.
