Race Seven : (114) - LUNG HANG HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 2 FLOWING RICHES (K293) C L Chau C L Chau reported that he was unable to cross runners from his wide barrier and as a result was caught wide in the early stages and was obliged to race further back in the field to ensure it was able to obtain cover behind KA YING RADIANCE.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 ACE EAGLE (L341) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 PRIME ACE (L443) A Atzeni From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the 300 Metres had some difficulty obtaining clear running when being shifted to the outside of SOLID CAR.
Horse No 7 INCREDIBLE MOMENT (K275) H Y Yuen Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 9 GREEN FIELD PEARL (K460) K C Leung K C Leung reported that his mount jumped better than expected today and as a result was able to hold an on-pace position.
Horse No 10 KA YING RADIANCE (K134) M F Poon M F Poon reported that his mount was disadvantaged by having to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

For a short distance near the 50 Metres had difficulty obtaining clear running when held up to the inside of ISLAND BUDDY which shifted in.

Favourite Ace Eagle led from gate three and was able to shake off a challenge mid-race by Incredible Moment for a maiden win at his second start. He was able to build on a debut second in June. Incredible Moment kept on gamely for second after rushing forward to put pressure on the leader 700m out from gate 10. It was a good effort at his first start for his new trainer. Solid Car ran on late through the centre for third after a one-off trip from behind midfield. It was another a good effort carrying 7lb more following a win last start over 1,400m. Island Buddy plugged away for fourth.
