Horse No 1 WELL ENOUGH (L029) M L Yeung Slow to begin.
Horse No 3 LADY'S LOVE (L220) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 STEADFAST FORT (L286) J Orman From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 6 JOLLY BONUS (L327) K Teetan Had a tendency to over-race in the middle stages.
Horse No 7 GENIUS BABY (K132) L Hewitson On jumping was bumped by HAPPY PROMISE and POLAR PATCH, both of which shifted ground.
Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 8 GOLDEN WIN (L026) K C Leung K C Leung could offer no explanation for his mount's disappointing performance.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 MIGHTY FIGHTER (L132) R Kingscote Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
After leaving the 500 Metres attempted a run to the inside of LADY'S LOVE on entering the Home Straight, however, was disappointed for a clear run and then was shifted out to obtain clear running before shifting back in near the 300 Metres.
Horse No 11 HAPPY PROMISE (L266) A Atzeni Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of GENIUS BABY.
A Atzeni reported that his mount was disappointing albeit being obliged to race wide throughout the event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 12 POLAR PATCH (L211) C L Chau Jumped awkwardly, shifted in and made contact with GENIUS BABY.
C L Chau explained that his instructions were to ride his mount in a forward position.

Early favourite Lady's Love had a dream run fourth on the fence before hitting the front 250m out and just holding on for a first win at his eighth local start. He was able to build on an eye-catching third last month. Backed to jump favourite, Quick Contribution finished well with three wider out to make it close on the wire after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He's a winner waiting to happen. Mighty Fighter stayed on well for third after getting held for a run between the 350m and 150m travelling behind midfield on the fence following a tardy start. He relished a step up to 1,400m.
