Recap by phillip woo
Sky Jewellery was wide and third last but finished willingly with one wider out to just get the bob down to beat Hot Delight for a sixth win from nine starts. He is a bleeder but is very talented. Hot Delight was just denied after leading 60m out following a prominent run wide without cover from gate nine. It was a huge run in defeat by the exciting fouryear- old. Sensationally backed Drombeg Banner grudgingly gave way after dictating the pace from gate 12. It was a good effort off a light weight. Infinite Resolve ran on nicely for fourth after making his run third last on the fence from gate one.
