Racing Incident Report
Race Eight : (64) - CHONGQING HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 ALMIGHTY WARRIOR (L245) Z Purton Z Purton stated that his mount was progressing from griffin company today and may not have been suited with its allotted weight of 135 lbs.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
The performance of ALMIGHTY WARRIOR, a last start winner, was considered disappointing.
Before being allowed to race again, ALMIGHTY WARRIOR will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 4 VIRTUS GLORY (L298) B Avdulla Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 PRIME ACE (L443) K Teetan Pulled hard during the event.
K Teetan dropped his whip near the 150 Metres.
Horse No 6 PRIVATE WEALTH (L177) J Orman Began only fairly.
J Orman could offer no excuse for today's performance other than his mount was reluctant to improve between runners during the race.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 9 E HO HO (L119) H Bentley Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Trainer K L Man was questioned regarding E HO HO's improved performance today.
He explained that E HO HO had derived benefit from its first up run from a spell when only beaten 3 lengths.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 11 SPEEDY POWER (L362) A Atzeni From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 12 TYCOON EXPRESS (K376) C Y Ho Jumped awkwardly and lost ground.
Horse No 14 CASA PRIMO (L201) R Kingscote Lay out in the Home Straight, proving difficult to ride out.
R Kingscote dropped his whip inside the 100 Metres.
R Kingscote explained that it was not the pre-race instructions to lead, however, from a wide barrier his mount began well and was obliged to take up a forward position to avoid being caught wide.

Brown-lamped outsider E Ho Ho was wide without cover near the front from gate 13 but kept finding to lead 300m out for a maiden win at his fourth start. It was clearly his best performance from three starts on turf. Favourite Virtus Glory finished second but could not peg back the winner after a one-out, one-back run. He's honest but has trouble winning. Speedy Power was hitting the line with purpose down the outside to just miss second prize money after a patient ride third last from gate 12. He was able to back up a nice trial win for his new trainer. Better And Better ran on steadily near the inside for fourth after a one-off trip from midfield. He's gone all right in both 1,200m runs this term. Well backed Golden Triumph made inroads late through the centre for fifth.
