Recap by phillip woo

Punted late P I Legend had a one-off trip in midfield and collared Turquoise Velocity in the shadows of the post for a second win on dirt from nine local starts. The return to dirt racing was the key. Turquoise Velocity put up a brave performance after leading from gate four. It was a solid run at his first dirt start. Must Go surged late through the centre to just grab third after travelling wide towards the rear from gate eight. This is his surface. Favourite Blazing Wind had his chance but whacked on one paced after a prominent run from gate 10. The 11lb rise in weight took its toll following a win. Victory Sky was running on late to just miss the frame after making his run behind midfield on the fence.
