Xi says China and US have responsibility to ‘manage AI for good’

China and the US have the “capability and responsibility to develop and manage AI for good” and make sure that AI’s development remains under human control, Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Thursday during his visit to Washington. Xi also said that he and Trump respect each other, maintain regular communication, and support cooperation in foreign affairs, trade, finance and law enforcement. China’s door was open and it welcomed US firms to invest there, Xi said.
