Building collapses into floodwaters as heavy rains batter northern India

A building housing a row of shops collapsed into raging floodwaters in India’s Jammu and Kashmir region on Tuesday, after torrential downpours caused heavy flooding in low-lying areas. Authorities confirmed that the building was fully evacuated at the time and there were no reports of casualties or injuries.
