Taiwan's Chang Chih-hsuan made her debut in the Lucozade Hong Kong Cross Country Championships a winning one at Fanling yesterday, just one day after claiming the Unicef 10km at Disneyland.
The 22-year-old from Taipei carved out an early lead over the Old Course at the Hong Kong Golf Club, and extended her advantage to over a minute from Ho Lok-man.

"This was the first time I've ever run cross country, so I didn't really know what to expect," said Chang, who won in 39 minutes and 56 seconds to be the only female runner to break 40 minutes.
"I much prefer the level surface of road running to the uneven ground of the golf course, especially as I ran the Unicef race one day before, " she said.
