Cult Korean brand Hetras and Japanese noodle shop Tsukemen Gyorai open their first Hong Kong outposts, and Matchali adds another location

Seoul-based fragrance brand Hetras has landed in Causeway Bay, marking its first physical outpost outside Korea. A favourite among K-pop royalty, the artisanal label’s clean, nature-inspired aromas span more than 30 distinct scents, including Flower Shop, Hotel Wood and Jeju Saryeoni Forest – each available as long-lasting reed diffusers, vintage-style perfumes or antioxidant-rich body care. It’s a welcome dose of olfactory calm amid the city’s hustle.

Matchali
Matchali has expanded its footprint with a handsome new outpost on Lyndhurst Terrace. Designed by Brash Atelier, the timber-clad space has a menu featuring playful exclusives such as an iced banana bread matcha latte and a rich Spanish version laced with condensed milk, alongside seasonal sips such as the apple pie blend. For home rituals, pick up its signature ceremonial-grade kits or locally crafted ceramics.
