A video of two young skateboarders speeding down a curvy highway in Hong Kong has gone viral online, prompting transport authorities to warn that the pair may have broken the law and that they should stick to skateparks.
A video of two young people skateboarding on the Hill Road flyover in Shek Tong Tsui has gained 312,000 views on the social media platform Threads. The pair are wearing helmets and gloves while travelling at high speeds on the flyover, which goes one-way through densely packed residential buildings.
In the video, the pair are sometimes seen spreading their arms and leaning down to maintain balance.
A car following them recorded the entire process with a dashcam. As the video gained popularity, users began commenting and raising concerns about safety.
