Malaysian police arrest 7 Yemeni men in Kuala Lumpur after dangerous road stunt goes viral
The men reportedly told police that they leaned out of the cars and sat on the windows for fun while celebrating a friend’s wedding
Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department chief Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa said the incident, which occurred at about 12.30am, came to light after a video of the incident went viral on social media.
He said preliminary investigations found that both vehicles were travelling along Jalan Sungai Besi towards Jalan Bukit Bintang when the passengers allegedly leaned out of the vehicles and sat on the windows.
“All seven individuals were Yemeni men aged between 23 and 26,” he said in a statement on Saturday. “Five of them are students at a public university in Kedah, while the other two are university graduates.”
