Bryan Seaver, nephew of the late country icon Dolly Parton, has been fired from his role as her head of security after more than two decades.

According to a termination letter obtained by TMZ, Seaver and his security companies were “immediately dismissed” from all of his aunt’s properties. The notice was reportedly issued the same day replacement guards took over at Parton’s properties.
Seaver and his team have told TMZ that they were “dismayed by the unexpected and, so far, unexplained actions”. In remarks targeted at Parton’s manager Danny Nozell and Pinnacle Bank, which manage the DP Dean Trust that now looks after Dolly’s properties and businesses, they said: “We refuse to be intimidated by those whose actions we believe are being taken in bad faith and with the intent to profit from the life of someone who willingly gave so much.”

According to the termination letter, while Seaver has been stripped of his role with Parton’s properties, his personal interest in the DP Dean Trust remains intact.
Following Parton’s death on August 25, it was Seaver who confirmed the news to the public via an Instagram video.
“This video announcement is something Dolly asked of me years ago, before I fully absorbed it as a future reality,” Seaver said at the time. “As her head of security for more than two decades, a role my father Larry held before me, I have imagined the heaviness of this moment but haven’t truly felt it until now.”

He is the son of Cassie Parton

Bryan Seaver was born to Parton’s younger sister, Cassie, and her husband, Larry Seaver. They also share a daughter, Rebecca Ann Seaver.
Larry worked as head of security for the “Jolene” singer before his son took over the role.
As a child, Seaver even joined his famous aunt on tour.
He has been accused of extorting the Parton estate

While little is known about Seaver’s private life, he has come under scrutiny following the country music legend’s death.
In addition to being removed as head of security for the Parton estate, Seaver was served with a restraining order by the late singer’s management company on September 22. New court filings obtained by People magazine also allege that Seaver used his “self-proclaimed military contractor experience” to extort Parton’s estate for money.
Seaver had reportedly boasted about his experience in arms dealing and warfare and told Nozell that he was seeking “vengeance for my people for the next 50 years. I have no debt. I only own swords and guns”.
On September 1, days after Parton’s death, Seaver allegedly wrote to her trust and lawyer: “Her money better be bigger than I can make elsewhere or I’m going to f**k everyone.”
