Country musician Riley Green, who is known for hits like “I Wish Grandpas Never Died” and “Worst Way”, just made his debut as a coach on the latest season of The Voice.

Alongside Green, Queen Latifah has also been announced as the show’s newest addition. The two newcomers join returning coaches Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine for Season 30 of the NBC singing competition. Amid news of Green’s latest career move, it is his love life – specifically his speculated romance and feud with Megan Moroney – that is making headlines.
The fellow country musicians sparked dating rumours in 2025 after posting photos from St. Barts at the same time. They both denied being romantically involved; however, in early 2026, Moroney released her track “Who Hurt You?”, which she confirmed is about Green in an interview with Cosmopolitan this July. The song hints at a relationship that ended badly.

On September 18, Green released his latest album That’s Just Me, and fans can’t help but think one specific track titled “P.O.S.” is a dig at Moroney. In the song, Green accuses a person of dragging “every letter of my name on a chain through the Mississippi mud”.
Green has reportedly denied that the song relates to Moroney, but this isn’t the first time the singer-songwriter has been involved in relationship drama. Who else has Riley Green been linked to? Here’s everything you need to know.
Sophia Sansone

Sophia Sansone is Riley Green’s only confirmed romance to date. The couple made their first public appearance together on the 2022 CMT Awards red carpet.
Sansone is a managing partner at Make Wake Artists, a Nashville-based music management company. She has previously worked with artists like Luke Combs.
While Sansone and Green kept their relationship largely private, she revealed during a December appearance on the ProbablyShannonFord podcast that they dated on and off for three years.
During the episode, Sansone described the relationship as “a mess” and accused Green of breaking her phone and other electronic devices.
Ella Langley

Green was rumoured to have dated “Choosin’ Texas” singer Ella Langley after the two released their hit duet “You Look Like You Love Me” in 2024. However, Green and Langley have clarified that their relationship was purely professional.
“Ella’s probably too smart to date me anyway,” Green said on the relationship podcast The Viall Files in December. “When we first started having success with that song, I kinda told Ella, ‘There’s gonna be a lot of things said, but I mean you don’t really gotta play into it or not play into it.’”
Bryana Ferringer

In December 2025, Green attended the CMA Awards with influencer Bryana Ferringer, who is known to have previously dated country musician Tucker Wetmore.
Green and Ferringer were seen together at a basketball game in February this year.
