Actor Frankie Muniz, best known for playing the titular character in the hit sitcom Malcolm in the Middle, seems to be going through a rough patch. The 40-year-old, who is also a professional stock car racing driver, recently shared on Instagram that the last few weeks of his life have been “a nightmare [he’s] praying to wake up from”. Describing the situation as “hitting rock bottom”, the New Jersey native remains hopeful, writing, “In five years I believe I’ll look back at this exact low point and feel grateful for it, because the high I’ll be standing on then only exists because I went through this.”
