Taylor Sheridan’s spy thriller show Lioness has wrapped up its third season with a shocking finale twist.
Inspired by a real-life unit of undercover female agents fighting terrorist organisations, the show boasts an A-list cast led by Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman and Morgan Freeman.

The final minutes of Season 3’s last episode spotlight Cruz Manuelos, a young Marine and CIA operative played by Laysla De Oliveira. In a dramatic turn, it is revealed that the multiple attempts to abduct Lioness team leader Joe McNamara (Saldaña) were orchestrated by Aaliyah Amrohi – a woman Cruz befriended in Season 1 in an attempt to kill her terrorist father.
While fans are eager for confirmation on whether the show will be renewed for another season, here’s everything to know about De Oliveira.
How did she get her start?

Laysla De Oliveira was born in January 1992 in Toronto, Canada. Of Brazilian descent, she was raised in a Catholic household but has said she is no longer a practising Catholic.
De Oliveira was just 14 years old when she began her modelling career after being discovered on the street by an agency scout.
What roles has Laysla De Oliveira played?

De Oliveira attended Rosedale Heights School of the Arts in Toronto. She decided to become an actress after her very first drama class at the school.
At university, De Oliveira acquired an agent and got busy attending auditions. She landed her first on-screen role in a 2012 episode of the spy thriller Covert Affairs.
Her first starring role came soon after, in the 2013 television film Gothica, also starring Tom Ellis and Melissa George.
But it wasn’t until 2020 when she landed a recurring role as Dodge, one of the main antagonists in Netflix’s Locke & Key, that De Oliveira’s career really started to take off.
The actress is clearly in demand, with three upcoming projects listed on her IMDb profile.
Is Laysla De Oliveira single?

De Oliveira wed her long-time partner, Jonathan Keltz, in May last year. The couple, who had been dating for 13 years, eloped and tied the knot at the Santa Barbara courthouse.
A fellow actor, Keltz is known for playing Jake Steinberg on the HBO series Entourage.
