The 78th Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony was held on September 14, and the internet is still buzzing over television’s biggest night. Gary Oldman brought extra sparkle to the red carpet, stepping out for the glamorous evening alongside his wife, Gisele Schmidt.
The Slow Horses actor, 68, was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series but lost to Noah Wyle for The Pitt. This was one of four losses for Slow Horses, which was nominated for five Primetime Emmys. Saul Metzstein won Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series for Season 5’s episode, Scars. The show also received four nominations for the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy, which honours technical crafts including editing and sound mixing, but did not win.
