Just days after Blackpink’s long-awaited 10th-anniversary reunion on August 8, a new name has become the talk of the K-pop world – Thai actor Blue Pongtiwat. The 26-year-old has been thrust into the global spotlight following a series of rumoured sightings with Lisa, sparking intense dating speculation that has captivated fans and critics alike.
Thai newspaper Thairath reported that the two, who have been close friends for years, may have become romantically involved earlier this year. Adding to the intrigue, Pongtiwat joined Lisa’s 29th birthday celebration, which her family also attended.

Where were Lisa and Pongtiwat seen together?

Dating speculation has been fuelled by multiple reports of the pair spending time together across Asia, including Thailand, Hong Kong and Japan. Most recently, photos and videos circulating on Weibo showed the pair together at a shopping centre in Thailand, where Lisa was seen browsing and trying on colourful beanies while Pongtiwat appeared to be talking on the phone.
The timing of the rumours, so soon after the group’s milestone reunion, has drawn criticism from some fans. Some accused the singer of prioritising her personal life over her responsibilities, while others pointed to her quick departure from South Korea after the anniversary event, according to social media comments cited by Sina. Lisa’s behaviour during a fan livestream was also described as “distracted”.
Neither Lisa nor Pongtiwat has publicly commented on the nature of their relationship.
What are Blue Pongtiwat’s credits?

The actor, whose birth name is Pongtiwat Tangwancharoen, was born on March 15, 2000. He is a prominent Thai multi-hyphenate who acts, sings and models. A graduate of Srinakharinwirot University with a degree in film and digital media, Pongtiwat began his career in the entertainment industry as a teenager before landing roles in popular Thai dramas, including his breakout appearance in the television series Krong Kam.
What other shows has Blue Pongtiwat been in?

A rising star in Thai show business, Pongtiwat is known for his boy-next-door charm. He has built a reputation with stand-out performances in shows such as Intern in My Heart and Netflix’s Ready, Set, Love. His looks have earned him the nickname “Thailand’s Cha Eun-woo”, after the K-pop star from the boy band Astro.
While he often portrays kind-hearted characters, the actor has said he wants to branch out. “I’d love to do an action role or play a villain,” Pongtiwat told AugustMan Singapore in 2025. “Something completely different from what I’ve done before. I want to push myself and see what I’m capable of.”
Who has Lisa dated before?

This is not the first time Lisa has been linked to a high-profile partner. The singer was previously rumoured to be in a relationship with Frédéric Arnault, son of LVMH chairman and CEO Bernard Arnault, for about two years. However, the couple sparked break-up rumours in March, when Frédéric missed Lisa’s 29th birthday party. He later stopped interacting with her social media posts, while some of his family members unfollowed the superstar.
