Olivia Rodrigo was recently spotted with someone her fans dubbed a “mystery man”, later identified as financier Julian Croonenberghs. The pair were photographed together at an airport in Iceland, sharing a pair of wired earphones, fuelling rumours that he may be Rodrigo’s new beau.
Rodrigo previously dated British actor Louis Partridge, but the couple reportedly called it quits in December 2025 after two years together. The question of whether the singer has a new boyfriend has dominated entertainment news headlines since then.

The Geese frontman Cameron Winter was once suspected to be Rodrigo’s new partner after the two grabbed dinner together in April, but the dating rumours quickly fizzled out.
So what about Julian Croonenberghs? Is he really dating Rodrigo? Here is everything we know.
How did Olivia Rodrigo meet Julian Croonenberghs?

Rodrigo and Croonenberghs were first spotted together in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, last month, according to celebrity gossip site Deuxmoi. Rodrigo was snapped sitting at a candlelit table in a red-and-white checkered dress opposite Croonenberghs.
Later that month, the two were seen together on the streets of New York City, standing next to each other while talking to a friend.
Fans speculate that Rodrigo likely met Croonenberghs through his sister, Jade Croonenberghs, who is a DJ and runs in the same circles as Rodrigo.
What does Julian Croonenberghs do?

According to Croonenberghs’ LinkedIn profile, he graduated from Brown University in 2022, majoring in mathematics and computer science. He is currently working as a private equity associate at Hg Capital, a private equity firm that focuses on software and technology, and services businesses in Europe and North America. Before Hg, Croonenberghs was an investment banking analyst at Goldman Sachs.
Croonenberghs also played for the US field hockey national team between 2018 and 2020, and speaks English, French and Dutch.
Who did Olivia Rodrigo used to date?

Rodrigo’s first publicly known boyfriend was her Disney Channel co-star Ethan Wacker. The two met on the set of the Bizaardvark sitcom in 2016 and dated for six months between 2018 and 2019.
Then came Rodrigo’s second co-star boyfriend, Joshua Bassett, who played her love interest in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. The two never officially confirmed their relationship, but they reportedly dated for a year from 2019 to 2020. After the split, Bassett went on to date another Disney star, Sabrina Carpenter.
In the summer of 2021, Rodrigo was seen with producer Adam Faze before their reported split in February 2022.
Shortly after, Rodrigo moved on to date DJ Zack Bia. Their relationship reportedly began in February 2022, after Bia invited the star to one of his Super Bowl DJ sets. However, they went their separate ways by August 2022, per Us Weekly.
Rodrigo’s most recent relationship was with Enola Holmes star Louis Partridge, who she reportedly split from at the end of 2025. The couple first sparked dating rumours in October 2023 when spotted hanging out in London together.
