Meet Anthony Norman, the unsuspecting star of Amazon’s Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat

The second instalment of Amazon’s hoax comedy show stars an unsuspecting Anthony Norman, who believed he was working a temp job and ended up heroically saving the day
Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat, which aired its final episodes on Amazon Prime Video on April 3, features Anthony Norman as its unwitting star.
In the eight-episode series, Norman is led to believe he has been hired as an office temp at a hot sauce company called Rockin’ Grandmas, where he finds he must lead his co-workers during a company retreat. The truth? The company is a fictional one, its employees are all actors, and it is all a hoax.
During Company Retreat’s final episodes, Norman heroically stops the Rockin’ Grandmas owner from selling the business to a company with questionable practices, and the season wraps with him finding out he has been pranked the whole time. He is compensated with US$150,000.

It’s the second instalment of the wildly successful hoax comedy series Jury Duty, which premiered in 2023 and “starred” the unsuspecting Ronald Gladden as he navigated an increasingly bizarre trial while serving as a juror. Unbeknown to Gladden, he was sitting for an entirely fictional trial in a courtroom full of actors. Both series are created by Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky.
With the wrapping up of the second series, we take a look at what you need to know about Norman.
He is a father

Norman, 26, travelled from Tennessee to California for his role as a temporary assistant at Rockin’ Grandmas, a short-term gig (or so he thought) that he applied to because it suited his schedule as a father.
