“It blows my mind. What an honour that my daughter wants to follow in my footsteps” Dwayne Johnson told Jimmy Fallon in a virtual interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “It sounds cliché, but she actually wants to create and blaze her own path.”

Simone served as the first Golden Globe ambassador at the 2018 Golden Globes. The role, which was formerly known as Miss Golden Globe, assists celebrities and hands out statuettes to winners.

I debated about posting this for a few days until the event that occurred yesterday. This needs to be posted, this needs to be shared because this is real. This isn't a reality TV show or a movie, this is real life and this is America in 2016. A world where we have to fight, riot, and protest for basic human rights. A world where innocent men, women, and children die because of their skin color at the hands of those meant to protect and serve. A world where the moment the black community starts to demand equal rights, saying that their lives matter too are shut down by the phrase "but all lives matter too!". Of course all lives matter, we never said they didn't. We said that black lives matter too, because right now we can't walk down the street, sell CDs, drive a car or even ask for help from the police in fear that they might kill us. Why? Because our skin is seen as a weapon, dangerous and deadly when really it seems to be the other way around. #BLM #AlfredOlango #NoJusticeNoPeace

Aside from Dwayne, Simone’s great-grandfather Peter Maivia and grandfather Rocky Johnson are also well-known in wrestling circles, both of whom are WWE Hall of Famers. Her mother, Dany Garcia, according to Insider, has produced films Jumanji, Baywatch and Ballers, all of which Dwayne appeared in. She is also Dwayne’s ex-wife and long-time manager.
