Few athletes in the world right now are enjoying a hotter streak than Mohamed “Mo” Salah.
The Liverpool FC star played a huge role in his club’s recent Premier League triumph, playing some of the finest football of his career over the season.

He’s widely considered one of the team’s most valuable players, and as a result, has become a top target for cash-injected clubs worldwide. Case in point: earlier this year, he turned down the equivalent of a small nation’s GDP – a jaw-dropping £500 million (US$677 million) – to play in Saudi Arabia. Instead, he opted to extend his stay at Anfield, where he reportedly now earns close to US$542,000 a week.
With that kind of salary, it’s no surprise that a fair share of Salah’s pocket change ends up on his wrist. Over the years, the soon-to-be 33-year-old Egyptian forward has been spotted wearing everything from extravagant Richard Milles and esoteric haute horlogerie gems to grail-worthy Royal Oaks.
Here’s a look at some of the most impressive timepieces in Mo Salah’s ever-growing luxury watch collection ahead of his 33rd birthday:
Richard Mille RM17-02

When Salah confirmed in April that he’d be staying at Liverpool, fans were ecstatic – and judging by his wrist, he was just as pleased. To mark the milestone, he added another Richard Mille to his collection, an RM 17-02 Tourbillon Titanium, which he wore while signing the two-year deal that will bring his tenure at the club to a full decade.
It’s a fitting flex for a striker at the top of his game: an open-worked tourbillon accented in blue, black and gold PVD, dotted with rubies, and housed in a hard-to-ignore blue ceramic and rose gold case, complete with a matching blue rubber strap. Valued at just under a million dollars – US$950,000 to be exact – it was a statement piece to wear for a big moment.
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Openworked

It seems that Salah has a penchant for skeletonised, high-complication timepieces; first the RM17-02, then the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Openworked. He wore this ultra-rare piece to a headline match against Paris Saint-Germain earlier this year, making it clear that his wrist game is as sharp as his footwork.
With a sleek black ceramic case and integrated bracelet, this watch comes stacked: a perpetual calendar that tracks months and leap years; week, day and date indications; a moon phase display; and rose gold hour markers. Valued at around US$400,000, it’s a six-figure show-stopper that only VVVIPs can get their hands on.
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon GMT

An avid Audemars Piguet fan, the footballer added another sporty chronograph to his collection: an AP Royal Oak Concept Flying Tourbillon, which he wore to mark his first Champions League win in 2019. Crafted from sandblasted titanium with a black ceramic bezel, this futuristic 44mm stunner houses a skeletonised dial, a second time zone display, and the crown jewel: a flying tourbillon that appears to float mid-air, anchored only on one side. It’s worth somewhere in the neighbourhood of US$200,000.

As you’ve probably surmised, Salah’s watch collection is full of heavy-hitters, but few pieces carry the emotional weight of the Liverpool edition of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore. Featuring the club’s signature red and a chronograph set against a signature Méga Tapisserie dial, it was gifted to the squad in celebration of their long-awaited 2020 Premier League victory, ending a 30-year title drought. Flip it over and the sentiment deepens: the caseback reveals a custom rotor engraved with its wearers’ Liverpool player number, making this one-of-one custom timepiece a priceless piece of club history.
Ulysse Nardin FreakLab in 18k white gold

The Egyptian striker has also shown a taste for unconventional diving watches, most notably by Ulysse Nardin. The brand has carved out a niche for doing things differently, taking risks like its space-age Freak collection, which famously features no crown, no dial and no hands. That same renegade spirit probably speaks to why Salah has been seen wearing a Ulysse Nardin Freak Lab in 18k white gold. Powered by a flying carousel tourbillon that also functions as the minute hand, the FreakLab features a silicon escapement for enhanced precision and is limited to just 99 pieces worldwide. It carries a price tag of around US$95,000.
Urwerk UR-105 CT Streamliner

If the FreakLab is unconventional, the UR-105 CT Streamliner, another watch in Salah’s collection, is downright otherworldly. Created for Urwerk’s 20th anniversary, this stealthy, sculptural timepiece draws inspiration from New York’s art deco icons like the Empire State and Chrysler buildings. At first glance, it barely resembles a watch, at least to the untrained eye. Its signature revolving satellite display – Urwerk’s hi-tech take on the wandering hours complication – appears as a line of numbers tracking along the base, partially hidden beneath a grill that obscures the rest of the dial. Flip open the cover, and the minimalism gives way to a fully exposed view of its intricate, precision-engineered mechanics in all their glory.

Salah is no stranger to refined wristwear, either. He’s been spotted wearing a comparatively understated Glashütte Original. In contrast to the maximalist energy of his Richard Milles, heavyweight Royal Oaks, or avant-garde Urwerk, this rose gold piece from the modern German watchmaker is a thoughtful departure – perhaps more in tune with his off-pitch persona?
It’s colourful, playful and quietly complex. Like the Urwerk or FreakLab, however, it still defies convention, featuring an off-centre main dial and a small seconds subdial tucked into the lower right.
