It’s official: Taylor Swift has entered her luxury watch era.
The powerhouse performer has dominated the zeitgeist in the last two years, propelled by her record-breaking Eras Tour. Combined with the release of her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, Swift’s net worth has soared past the 10-figure mark, reportedly reaching about US$1.6 billion, says Forbes.

What better time, then, for her to jump into the world of opulent watches? While Swift has long been a style icon – her blonde fringe, red lips and signature winged eyeliner are instantly recognisable – she’s historically steered clear of high-end timepieces.
According to stylist Sarah Chapelle, who has closely followed Swift’s developing image, this new focus on watches reflects a broader shift in the singer-songwriter’s approach to accessories.

“Over the last year, Taylor has elevated her jewellery game, experimenting with layering in categories like necklaces, earrings and bracelets. But one category that’s completely new to her? Watches,” Chapelle shared on Instagram.
And though she’s only beginning her journey into the realm of extravagant timepieces, the musician has already curated an enviable collection. Here’s a look at the high-end watches Taylor Swift has been sporting.
Panthère de Cartier

In December, Swift wore a decidedly smart-looking 14k yellow gold Panthère de Cartier to the New York birthday party of long-time friend and stylist Ashley Avignone, reported Page Six. Much like the sequin-smothered bodysuits she dazzles in onstage, Swift’s Cartier is similarly adorned, encrusted with 40 brilliant-cut diamonds that effortlessly catch the light.
Amounting to one of Cartier’s most famous motifs, the Panthère is a classic timepiece from the legacy maison. In homage to its creator, Jeanne Toussaint – the “Panther” of Cartier – it’s said to represent independence, strength, femininity and mystery … all qualities for which Swift is known.
This tastefully bejewelled watch is valued at around US$32,000.
Louis Vuitton Tambour

Another gorgeous gold wrist piece Swift has been spotted wearing, according to GQ magazine, is the newly revamped Louis Vuitton Tambour. Originally launched in 2002, the Tambour was revisited in 2023 with a series of clever, modern upgrades.
True to its name, which means “drum” in French, the Tambour features a thicker, rounded case with a brushed-and-polished bracelet that integrates into the drum-inspired design, creating a chic, fluid silhouette. The dial is a fresh take on the vintage “sector” style, with concentric circles and radial lines dividing the face into sections. It includes an outer minute ring, lumed hands and a grey, vertically brushed centre and sub-seconds display positioned just above the six o’clock marker.
Swift wore this elegant interpretation of a sports watch in rose gold to, appropriately, an NFL football game last November, as she cheered on her Kansas City Chiefs tight-end boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Her watch is valued at approximately US$64,000.
Rolex Day-Date 36

Speaking of Kelce, he’s reportedly also played a role in his girlfriend’s burgeoning luxury watch collection. According to widespread reports, the NFL star and known watch enthusiast is said to have given Swift a rose gold Rolex Day-Date 36, which costs about US$60,350, for her 35th birthday last year.
Instantly recognisable for its signature day and date windows on the dial, this timepiece has been a favourite for decades among highly influential figures, including US presidents (who have favoured a larger, 40mm version, on Rolex’s unique “Presidential” bracelet).
More compact, at 36mm in diameter, the Day-Date 36 is a gender-neutral, understated accessory likely to align well with Swift’s everyday aesthetic. Looks like Kelce’s gift game is as strong as his game on the gridiron.
Vintage Concord choker watch

At the 2024 Grammy Awards in February last year, Swift made a bold fashion statement with an unexpected watch choice – a vintage Concord.
What made it really intriguing was that it wasn’t on her wrist but around her neck, ingeniously transformed into a diamond-covered choker by jewellery designer Lorraine Schwartz. Concord was one of the leading luxury watch brands in the mid-20th century, so prestigious that US president Harry S. Truman gave Concord watches to Winston Churchill and Joseph Stalin at the end of World War II. Or so the story went. While the brand has evolved, repurposing one of its legacy models is a clever nod to the past, breathing new life into something classic – much like Swift has done with her “Taylor’s Version” re-recordings.

Sharp-eyed fans may have noticed that the vintage watch wasn’t operational, which might seem like a missed opportunity for a proper refurbishment. But, as always with Swift, there was more to the story. The watch was set to 12 o’clock – a subtle reference to her album Midnights, which swept several awards at the ceremony.
