Michael B. Jordan, 38, is no stranger to transformation, whether he’s bulking up to play a champion boxer in Creed, tapping into his villainous side for Black Panther, or shape-shifting into a blues-loving vampire in this summer’s surprise hit, Sinners.
It’s almost hard to believe that the same actor who played the baby-faced kid-turned-drug-dealer Wallace in HBO’s The Wire has become one of Hollywood’s most bankable leading men.

But it’s not just his acting that’s evolved – his sense of style has, too. Once too broke to even think about luxury watches, Jordan told Robb Report, “It wasn’t really something I had been introduced to … but then over time, the more I had to dress up, it was something that I realised was a vital piece of fashion.”
Today, he’s a fully-fledged watch guy – “hooked”, as he puts it – on the one accessory he can’t live without. Here are a few stand-outs from Michael B. Jordan’s luxury watch collection.
Piaget Altiplano 40mm Chronograph

Jordan has had a long-standing relationship with Piaget, even acting as an ambassador for the Swiss watchmaker for several years. If his red carpet appearances are anything to go by, he seems to have a soft spot for its Altiplano line, a collection known for its ultra-thin face and tailored aesthetic. At the 2016 Oscars, for instance, he wore the newly released Piaget Altiplano Chronograph in white gold, paired with matching white gold cufflinks from the prestigious maison.
Piaget Polo 7131

As a friend of the brand, the actor has also had access to some rare pieces from the Piaget archives, including this vintage Piaget Polo 7131 from 1979. Crafted in 18k yellow gold, this 25mm unisex design was revolutionary for its time, aligning with the era’s boundary-pushing shifts in fashion, culture and society. Small and understated but big on style, it was a stylish choice for Jordan to wear during the Creed III press tour back in 2022.
Richard Mille RM 72-01 Le Mans Classic

For a GQ cover shoot earlier this year, Jordan opted for something a little bolder and more audacious: a Richard Mille RM 72-01 Le Mans Classic. Released in 2023 and named after the legendary French vintage automotive race, the watch features the event’s official colours – green and white – infused into a hi-tech Quartz TPT case. With its skeletonised dial and in-house flyback chronograph movement, this piece is classic Richard Mille.
Vacheron Constantin Historiques 222

Another brand the actor has shown a clear affinity for is Vacheron Constantin. In 2022, he was spotted wearing an all-gold Historiques 222, notably on the red carpet at the highly anticipated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premiere. A cult favourite among collectors since its launch in the 1970s, the 222 is an integrated-bracelet luxury sports watch that flies slightly under the radar compared to flashier icons from other brands like the Nautilus or Royal Oak – but it’s every bit as impressive. Jordan wore the 2022 reissue, which quickly became one of the year’s most coveted releases.

No serious watch collection is complete without a Rolex or two, and Michael B. Jordan is no exception. While holidaying in Italy last year, he was seen wearing a substantial Rolex Day-Date, complete with a fluted bezel, champagne dial, and baguette diamond hour markers. It’s not his only one, either; he’s also been spotted with a rose-gold Day-Date with a rich brown dial.
Tiffany & Co. Square 2-Hand

Jordan isn’t just loyal to the usual Swiss suspects – he’s also shown love to watchmakers with American roots. Case in point: the Tiffany & Co. Square 2-Hand. With its throwback elegance and art deco vibes, the piece channels 1920s New York. It’s understated but sharp, featuring a Swiss-made manual movement, cathedral hands, and a white satin sunburst dial with silver matt numerals. Paired with not one but two striking Tiffany brooches (because yes, men can and should wear brooches), Jordan’s look at the 2023 Oscars was as close to perfection as it gets.
