Marvel fans are reacting to the franchise’s latest outing, Thunderbolts*, which presents new characters who will turn out to be some of the most powerful in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film stars Sebastian Stan, Wyatt Russell, Florence Pugh and David Harbour, among others, as a band of overlooked former villains, anti-heroes and morally complex characters – think Marvel’s answer to DC’s Suicide Squad.
While audiences may already be familiar with some members of the Thunderbolts, the movie introduces us to one of the MCU’s strongest superheroes, the Sentry (aka Robert “Bob” Reynolds), played by Lewis Pullman.

Pullman is the son of The Sinner actor Bill Pullman and the only one of his three children to follow in their father’s footsteps.
While Pullman Jr has already established a solid career in Hollywood with films such as Top Gun: Maverick and upcoming Marvel projects under his belt, his siblings are equally successful in their own fields.
Here’s everything you need to know about Lewis Pullman’s siblings, Maesa and Jack Pullman.
They have a famous dad

Bill Pullman and his wife Tamara Hurwitz tied the knot in 1987 before welcoming daughter Maesa and sons Jack and Lewis.
Speaking to Fatherly in 2021, the Independence Day actor said of his three children: “All three have evolved into these people that are making their way in the world, doing what they love.”
“How great is that, to feel like they’ve got a fire for something and are committed?” he added.
Maesa Pullman

The eldest of the Pullman siblings, Maesa, was born in 1988. While she didn’t follow her father into the entertainment industry, she is musically inclined.
Maesa, who attended Hampshire College, revealed in an interview with Mass Live in 2012 that she was 12 years old when she first realised she could sing.
“I was 12 and in this hotel elevator singing Patsy Cline’s ‘Walking After Midnight’ and it sounded really good. I was like ‘Damn, I sound really good,’” she said.
In 2017, the songstress formed a community choir called the Band of Singers, per People. She went on to release her debut album Death of the Machine in 2020. In a 2020 interview on Milling About, Maesa spoke about her younger brothers’ involvement with her album: “My brother Lewis played drums on … most of the tracks on the album and then my other brother Jack played sax.”

Maesa’s music has also been featured on shows such as Queen Sugar, Wentworth, Catfish, Burn Notice, Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce and The Sinner, starring her father.
She is married to Jason Hiller and is the mother of two young children.
Jack Pullman

Keeping in line with the family’s artistry, Lewis’s older brother Jack is a puppet and mask designer.
Born in 1989, Jack’s Instagram page is filled with snaps of his creations. He is a member of the Rogue Artists Ensemble, a public charity that “creates Hyper-theatre: original, immersive, multidimensional experiences that celebrate the complexity and diversity of Los Angeles”, according to its website.
Speaking about his middle child with Fatherly, Bill said, “The middle son makes puppets and masks, and even that ended up being something he can make his way with, and he’s so creative.”
“He’s a little bit like Halston to me on the things he makes and his thinking processes. It’s been pretty impressive,” the actor continued, comparing his son to the renowned fashion designer Roy Halston Frowick who passed away in 1990, and who was portrayed in the 2021 Netflix biopic Halston, which Bill acted in.
