Actress Kathryn Hahn, who recently starred in her own Marvel TV miniseries Agatha All Along, was nominated for a Golden Globe award earlier this year.

The actress was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series for her role in Agatha All Along, a spin-off of 2021 miniseries WandaVision starring Elizabeth Olsen.
The nomination, a first for Hahn, came as a surprise to all, including Hahn herself. When asked how she planned to celebrate the nomination, the actress told Deadline, “We were going to pick out our Christmas tree tonight. I don’t know. I mean, life just goes on, and I’ve got kids, so I’m hoping I have a glass of champagne tonight.”
The award ultimately went to Anna Sawai for Shogun – here’s what we know about her low-key actor and producer husband, Ethan Sandler.
He is not related to Adam Sandler

Ethan Sandler, 52, is an actor, film producer and writer – and he is not related to Adam Sandler.
Sandler began acting at a young age; his debut role was in the 1988 movie, The Chocolate War. Since then, he’s made several small role appearances in TV shows such as Sex and the City, Will and Grace, and New Girl.
But perhaps his most prominent role has been as assistant district attorney Jeffrey Brandau on the early 2000s show Crossing Jordan, which also starred his wife, Kathryn Hahn.
He was also co-executive producer for multiple episodes of Fox’s New Girl and the CBS show Man with a Plan.
The pair met at university

Sandler and Hahn met and began dating while they were undergraduates at Northwestern University in Illinois.
The couple graduated in 1995 and moved to New York City together, per People. According to the magazine, they lived in Hell’s Kitchen for eight years while trying to break into the industry.
They married in 2002

The couple tied the knot in 2002, a decade after meeting. The pair keep their relationship relatively low-key and have welcomed two children – son Leonard and daughter Mae – into their marriage.
They played on-screen lovers

The IRL couple showed off their chemistry in front of the cameras when they were both cast in the crime drama Crossing Jordan.
The show was a big break for both Hahn and Sandler, whose characters Lily Lebowski and Jeffrey Brandau went on to get married on the show. According to People, Hahn’s real-life pregnancy was also written into the show’s storyline.
