Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke may be feuding with her mother Linda, but she has her husband Steven Oleksy’s support to keep her strong.
Recently, Linda claimed on her Instagram Story that her family is “the worst mess” and that her daughter Brooke is estranged from her, per People. “Brooke doesn’t talk to us. She had twins, she got married [and] she didn’t tell us,” Linda alleged.

Brooke shared her response via an Instagram post, agreeing that she had cut ties with her parents before explaining that she was allegedly “extremely verbally and mentally abused since childhood”. Linda hit back, calling Brooke “a narcissist just like her dad” who was once “so drunk she broke my collarbone and cut my lip and insisted everyone take her to the hospital because she was poisoned and she wasn’t”.

Now, Oleksy has stepped in to defend his wife in an Instagram statement of his own. Calling her the “most amazing person”, the former NHL athlete asserted that the claims made by his mother-in-law, whom he only refers to as “Jane Doe” or “the individual” in his post, are false. He maintained that his wife couldn’t have drunkenly harmed Linda because she’s not a “party girl” and that he had most certainly met “Jane Doe” before, despite Linda’s claim that she didn’t even know his name.
So, who is Steven Oleksy?
What’s his background?

Oleksy hails from Chesterfield, Michigan, where he was born to Andrew and Susan Oleksy, per People and his NHL bio. He attended L’Anse Creuse High School-North, graduating in 2004, per his school’s alumni page. He then pursued a business management and marketing degree from Lake Superior State University, graduating in 2009.
He’s an ice hockey player

Oleksy played ice hockey in college before going pro, per People. In the early days of his career, he played for the East Coast Hockey League and the American Hockey League, for teams including the Las Vegas Wranglers, the San Diego Gulls, the Idaho Steelheads and the Hershey Bears.
After moving up to the major league, albeit undrafted, he played puck for the Washington Capitals and the Pittsburgh Penguins, winning a Stanley Cup with the latter in 2016. In 2008, he founded ESE Hockey for hosting tournaments and summer leagues with players of all levels.
His relationship with Brooke Hogan

Oleksy married Brooke in June 2022 in Florida. They tied the knot in complete privacy, unaccompanied by friends and family. The newlyweds later celebrated in Michigan with Oleksy’s side of the family. It wasn’t until 2024 that Brooke made her marriage public. Earlier this year, their family grew with the birth of their fraternal twin babies, Oliver Andrew and Molly Gene.
