From Amazon’s Jeff Bezos and Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg, to Tesla’s Elon Musk and Apple’s Tim Cook, to Alphabet and Google’s Sundar Pichai … the cumulative net worth in the room was staggering.
While we know plenty about most of those billionaires’ partners – Bezos’ fiancée, Lauren Sánchez and Zuckerberg’s wife Priscilla Chan are particularly well known – Pichai’s wife Anjali is still something of an enigma.
Here’s what we do know about the Alphabet and Google CEO’s partner.
Who are Anjali Pichai’s parents?

While not much is known about Anjali Pichai’s mother, her father, Olaram Haryani – who was a widower at the time – embarked on a second marriage, to Madhuri Sharma, in 2015 when he was 70. Haryani is reportedly a retired employee of a Government Polytechnic College in Kota, in the Indian state of Rajasthan.

Like her husband, Anjali is in the tech industry, working as a business operations manager at Intuit, according to The Sun. She was a business analyst at Accenture from 1999 to 2002, having studied chemical engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
How did she meet her husband?

Anjali, 54 and Sundar, 52, met when they were undergraduate engineering students at the institute.
“IIT Kharagpur holds a special place in my heart as this was the place where I first met my beloved wife, Anjali, and had beautiful memories of my second home that I grew up in,” Sundar said at a ceremony last summer, where he received an honorary doctorate from his alma mater, per Business Today. Anjali was recognised with the institution’s Distinguished Alumnus Award at the same ceremony, in San Francisco.
Do Sundar and Anjali Pichai have children?

Although the Pichais are intensely private about their family life, The Sun reports that they share two children. They have a daughter, Kavya and a son, Kiran.
Like many top-tier tech execs, Pichai seemingly made an effort to limit his children’s screen time while they were growing up and purposely made the family television difficult to activate. But last year, he admitted he had turned to AI to help his children, now teenagers, at school, saying, “We use Google Lens for homework. I don’t want to get [them] in trouble but the class allows you to do that.”
