Another Gossip Girl star has tied the knot.

Jessica Szohr, who played the role of Vanessa Abrams in the hit series, just married her long-time partner Brad Richardson, as reported by Us Weekly. According to the source, actress Nina Dobrev was her maid of honour, while former cast members including Chace Crawford turned up to the event too. Per British media, it seems the It Ends with Us star Blake Lively, one of the series’ main characters, was not invited to the nuptials.

Szohr has been publicly linked to her beau Brad Richardson since March 2019, according to Us Weekly. Here’s what we know about him:
Brad Richardson is a former pro hockey player

Richardson is a former NHL star who has played for the Colorado Avalanche, Los Angeles Kings, Vancouver Canucks, Arizona Coyotes, Nashville Predators and the Calgary Flames, as seen on his profile on the NHL website. He made waves when he won the Stanley Cup with the Kings in 2012. Per Us Weekly, he retired in 2022.
Brad Richardson is Canadian

According to Cali Sports News, Richardson, 39, was born in Belleville, Ontario. After moving to the US for his sporting career, he told the publication a little bit about his hometown and how he celebrated after winning the Stanley Cup in 2012. “For my personal day, I took it back to Belleville, Ontario, where I’m from and just had friends and family around,” he said. “We did a couple of little things at City Hall and stuff so other people can see it and get some pictures and we went to a kid’s arena and surprised them with it as well. Then later … we sat around and told some hockey stories and had some drinks in it, you know, it was just a great day.”
How did Jessica Szohr and Brad Richardson meet?

It’s unclear how or when Szohr, 39, met her partner, but they have reportedly been together for around five years. The Ted 2 actress shared their engagement news via a post on Instagram in 2022. “I said yes!” she wrote below a black-and-white photo of the pair together – as she flaunted her huge sparkler.
“We had talked about wanting to be with each other forever and that he was my person and all of that, but it caught me off guard. I didn’t think it was going to be when it was, I didn’t know it was going to be this year, so yeah, I was shocked,” she told NBC at the time.
How many kids do Jessica Szohr and Brad Richardson have?

The couple welcomed their daughter, Bowie Wila, in January 2021. “Added a little special sweetness to our family and some new directions to our journey on 1-11-21,” Szohr wrote on Instagram celebrating the birth.
According to Us Weekly, Richardson also has a daughter with his ex-wife, Lauren Hunt, named Lexi.
“This journey with Brad and Lexi has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life,” Szohr added on the same post. “To then create a human that is absolutely perfect in our eyes and put a feeling in my heart I didn’t know existed is beyond words. I have all the feels and she is really something special,” she added.

Before tying the knot with Richardson, Szohr dated a handful of famous faces. According to Us Weekly, she was previously in a relationship with her GG co-star Ed Westwick, and then dated American football quarterback Aaron Rodgers twice.
Meanwhile, Richardson was previously married to a woman called Lauren Hunt.
