Goldberg’s only child stands to inherit around US$60 million from her EGOT winner mum, who recently spilled the beans on The View: ‘I’m gonna leave my kid everything that I have!’

Alexandrea “Alex” Martin – the only child of comedian, actress and EGOT winner Whoopi Goldberg – is an actress and film producer who got her start in the industry with cameos in her mother’s films. She denied being a nepo baby, though, on The View this month, at a 30th anniversary reunion for the cast of Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit.

“I’ve yet to experience that,” Martin quipped about nepo baby syndrome, provoking laughter from her castmates. “I auditioned like everybody else.”

Martin also stands to inherit her mother’s entire US$60 million fortune – a world away from the days when she and her struggling single mum shared a bed and depended on food stamps.
