As announced in a series of Instagram posts shared on June 30, the Denver Broncos player just popped the question to his girlfriend Nicolette Dellanno.

The 24-year-old chose a romantic location – the Amalfi Coast, no less – for the proposal. “To the love of my life, I never truly understood what love was until I met you. You’re not just my partner, but my best friend and my everything. I can’t wait to make a lifetime of memories with you, Nic, I love you,” he wrote in his caption.
Dellanno also shared a post to her social media, with the caption, “Zach, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. Every day I admire your strength and I’m so incredibly proud of you. I’m so in love with you and can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.”

Where is Nicolette Dellanno from?

Per People magazine, Dellanno hails from New Jersey and was born on December 15, 2001. She was reportedly raised in Colts Neck in California.
She was in a sorority

People also reports that Dellanno graduated from Red Bank Catholic High School in 2020, and went on to enrol in James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Per the source, she was in the Alpha Phi sorority.
She’s done some modelling, dance and theatre

Dellanno has tried her hand in different creative fields, including modelling for Target, and was in several school productions, including Annie and Alice in Wonderland. Per People, she grew up as a dancer because her mother Kathy was co-founder and co-managing director of Pure Dance Competition.
Nicolette Dellanno is a fashion designer

In 2023, Wilson told Deseret News about his partner’s budding fashion career. “She used to do some TikTok stuff for fun, but she is actually one of the top designers at this company called Morgan & Co.,” he told the publication. “They make dresses, like mother of the bride, and prom dresses. So she works in New York City and she gets to design dresses every day, which is a pretty cool gig.”
She loves to travel

It’s pretty clear that these lovebirds love to travel. From international trips to the Bahamas and Positano, to state visits to Miami and NYC, Dellanno and Wilson are quite the jet-setters.
How did Nicolette Dellanno meet Zach Wilson?

According to People, the couple were first publicly linked when they were seen attending a New York Yankees game together in June 2022. Dellanno later appeared in Sophia Culpo’s Instagram story during a Memorial Day weekend group holiday, with fellow NFL player Braxton Berrios in tow.

Before getting engaged to Dellanno, Wilson found himself embroiled in some, err, “soap opera-worthy” drama in his romantic life, as reported by US media. In 2022, his ex-girlfriend Abbey Gile accused him of sleeping with his mother’s close friend. The scandal came to light in a since-deleted Instagram post, where she reportedly accused her ex of “sleeping with his mom’s best friend,” and calling him a “homie hopper”.
He also reportedly took not one but two older BYU cheerleaders – Breanna Penrod and Brynn Hiatt – to his high school prom in 2018, per UK media.
