Hollywood weddings are so much more than ceremonies where two people celebrate their love – they’re also occasions for star-studded guest lists, designer wedding gowns and glorious destination backdrops.
From Chris Evans’ two secret ceremonies to Sofia Richie’s French Riviera wedding, here is a list of Tinseltown’s hottest couples who said “I do” this year.
1. Anya Taylor-Joy and Malcolm McRae

The Queen’s Gambit actress Anya Taylor-Joy and musician Malcolm McRae already had a courthouse wedding in 2022, but the couple celebrated their union again in a Venetian wedding in October.
Taylor-Joy was a vision in her custom Dior gown. The intimate guest list included the likes of Cara Delevingne, Nicholas Hoult – Taylor-Joy’s co-star in The Menu – and Julia Garner.
2. Sofia Richie and Elliot Grainge

The daughter of legendary musician Lionel Richie, Sofia Richie’s wedding to Elliot Grainge was the wedding of the year.

Complete with three custom Chanel wedding dresses, a fireworks display and the perfect location, Richie and Grainge exchanged vows at the luxurious Hotel du Cap-Eden-Rock in the South of France in April.
Paris Hilton, Cameron Diaz and Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece were among the attendees.
3. Jack Antonoff and Margaret Qualley

A year after news of their engagement broke out, music producer Jack Antonoff – who has worked with musicians Taylor Swift and Lorde – and actress Margaret Qualley tied the knot in New Jersey in August.
Qualley wore a custom halter Chanel dress and flats for the small wedding ceremony attended by celebrity guests including Swift, Zoë Kravitz, Lana Del Rey and more.
4. Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin

Supermodel Barbara Palvin and actor Dylan Sprouse said “I do” in Palvin’s home country of Hungary.
The long-time couple chose to exchange their vows in the same church where Palvin’s parents had their nuptials. Palvin changed dresses three times for the event, choosing a floor-length custom Vivienne Westwood for her vows.
5. Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens

After having a courthouse wedding in April, gymnast Simone Biles and American football player Jonathan Owens held another ceremony the following month.
The couples’ destination wedding took place in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and Biles had four outfit changes for her big day.

6. Lady Amelia Spencer and Greg Mallett

After a 14-year courtship, the late Princess Diana’s niece Lady Amelia Spencer exchanged vows with personal trainer Greg Mallett in a mountaintop ceremony in South Africa.
For her big day, Spencer wore a bespoke Atelier Versace bridal gown. The gown had a special meaning as the brand Versace was dear to Princess Diana, per Hello!
7. Chris Evans and Alba Baptista

Actor Chris Evans, who plays Captain America in the Marvel cinematic universe, and Portuguese actress Alba Baptista had not one but two secret wedding ceremonies – one in Cape Cod, Massachusetts in September, and another in Baptista’s home country, Portugal.
Those who attended the American wedding included Evans’ Marvel co-stars Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth and more.

8. Joey King and Steven Piet

Actress Joey King tied the knot with director Steven Piet in September after three years of dating and a year of engagement.
The Kissing Booth actress wore an Oscar de la Renta wedding gown for the destination wedding in Mallorca, Spain – an intimate affair attended by only close friends and family.
9. Michelle Yeoh and Jean Todt

Michelle Yeoh, who won an Oscar for her performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once, finally tied the knot with former Ferrari CEO Jean Todt in July after nearly two decades of being engaged.
The low-key wedding ceremony with friends and family took place in Geneva, Switzerland.
