Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe’s son Deacon has come under fire after a TikTok video of him giving a home tour went viral – it’s a 2-storey flat in the same neighbourhood loved by Taylor Swift

The musician and NYU student is sought after by high-fashion brands including Beyoncé’s Ivy Park, and his sister Ava is also a rising name in the industry, recently posing in a shoot for Rodarte

Given that Deacon Phillippe is the celeb son of Hollywood giants Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe, he was never going to be considered your “typical” 20-year-old.

And now, we’ve been given hard proof that Deacon is certainly not your average NYU student. After giving a tour of his pricey New York City flat in a TikTok video posted by influencer Caleb Simpson earlier this week, the “nepo baby” has been getting heat for his extreme privilege. It’s not the fact that he lives somewhere worth much more than the average student dogs – fans were more frustrated by his failure to acknowledge that he probably got support from his parents to be able to live in such a stunning spot.
