“Richest Richies” might sound like a cheesy pun, but the Richie family members are indeed a very wealthy bunch.
Of course, the Richie family fortune started with legendary Lionel’s hits like “Hello”, and later included his reality star and supermodel daughters and son.

With so many years of music royalties, runways and reality shows between them, how do the Richie family’s wealth compare in 2023?
We turned to the internet wizards from the likes of Celebrity Net Worth and more for some insight on their impressive fortunes.
6. Miles Brockman Richie – US$1 million

He might be the lesser-known one out of the Richie siblings, but Lionel’s second child with Diane Alexander, and his only son, is on a mission to carve a name for himself.
The hunky Richie signed as a model with Wilhelmina in 2018 after dropping out of UCLA (University of California Los Angeles), where he was majoring in accounting, per Essence.

The 28-year-old debuted on the runway during New York Fashion Week for Philipp Plein’s 2018 autumn menswear collection and appeared in the campaign for the Boss collaboration with Russell Athletic, alongside famous models like Bella Hadid, Ashley Graham and Lucky Blue Smith.

He might only have a mere US$1 million in his bank account, per Popular Net Worth, but if he’s anything like the rest of his successful family, he’ll catch up to their wealth in no time.
5. Sofia Richie Grainge, US$8 million

Sofia is Lionel’s daughter with ex-wife Alexander and, of course, one of the most famous supermodels in the world. At age 24, she’s a regular on the fashion week runways and has starred in campaigns for the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors and Adidas.

With almost 10 million followers on Instagram, she’s also a bona fide influencer who has partnered with the likes of Coca-Cola, Cotton On and Cheetos.
We have a strong suspicion her eight mil will increase drastically in the years to come.
4. Elliot Grainge – US$10 million

Meet the Richie clan’s newest family member – Sofia’s new husband Elliot Grainge!
Grainge is a music executive who founded his independent record label, 10K Projects, in 2016. His dad Lucian Grainge is one of the most powerful men in the music industry as the chairman and CEO of Universal Music Group.

It’s no wonder the 29-year-old entrepreneur, who married Sofia last month in France, is worth an impressive US$10 million already, per Yahoo!

2 and 3. Nicole Richie and Joel Madden – US$40 million

Combined, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have an impressive net worth of approximately US$40 million!
Lionel became Nicole’s legal guardian at a young age when her birth parents couldn’t afford to care for her and she went to live with him. He and his wife Brenda Harvey eventually officially adopted her at age nine. And what a ride it’s been for her since then!

As a pioneer of reality TV, Nicole, 41, rose to fame alongside Paris Hilton in 2003’s The Simple Life and fast became a regular in the tabloids. While she was known as a “bad girl” in the press, she soon rehabilitated her image, settled down and continued her successful career as an actress, model, author and businesswoman as the owner of lifestyle brand, House of Harlow.

In 2010, Nicole settled down and started her family when she married Good Charlotte rocker, Joel Madden, 44. The pair has two children together.

Alongside his twin brother Benji (who is married to Cameron Diaz), Good Charlotte has had plenty of global success since its 2000 launch, thanks to hits like “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” and “Girls and Boys”.

1. Lionel Richie – US$200 million

Indeed, Lionel Richie needs no introduction.
At 73, not only is he one of the greatest living legends of pop music, he’s also the patriarch of one of showbiz’s most famous families.
Lionel started his road to fame when he joined the Commodores as a singer and saxophone player back in 1968, and eventually released his first solo album in 1982. Throughout the 80s, he became a household name thanks to hits like “Hello”, “Stuck On You” and “Endless Love” with Diana Ross.

Of course, these days he’s a judge on American Idol and dazzled the world when he recently performed his biggest hits at King Charles’ coronation. So it’s no surprise Daddy Richie has accumulated an impressive fortune of approximately US$200 million.
