South Korean-American singer, actress and fashion entrepreneur Jessica Jung (formerly of Girls’ Generation) recently made headlines when she attended Blackpink’s concert in Hong Kong, cheering for her good friend Jennie Kim. She also just posted an Instagram snap greeting her a happy birthday.

Per Allkpop, Jung and Jennie have reportedly become close after finding out that they go to the same hair and make-up salons and have the same Pilates instructors.

It goes without saying that fashion, obviously, is another thing they share in common. Both K-pop idols adore everything Chanel and are the style chameleons who can wear together designer brands with sportswear or streetwear.

Like Jennie, Jung’s designer collection includes Chanel, and plenty of it!

In 2021, Jung released a vlog episode showcasing her exclusively Chanel handbag collection. She revealed that ever since she was young, she’d purchase at least one every year, and talked about how a Chanel bag offers an instant upgrade to your look, despite not wearing head-to-toe designer.

Jung has a handful of the Chanel flap bag in different colours, shapes and sizes (in the jumbo, 2.55 and small). They’re “great investments”, too, she points out in her video.

Beyond handbags, Jung also owns plenty of accessories from the French fashion house, which she styles so well with her basics, such as her go-to jeans. On her Instagram, we’ve seen her wear: a Chanel beanie hat with the logo and a denim-on-denim outfit, Chanel’s classic ballerina flats with a varsity jacket and a Chanel chain link ribbon belt with jeans and a tweed top, to name a few.

Described as “modern classic” on the website, Jung’s fashion label is as chic, playful, and feminine as her personal style is. To date, Blanc & Eclare has been worn by Twice’s Dahyun, Korean model and style icon Irene Kim and Jessica Jung’s sister Krystal, to name a few.

On Jung, we love how she mixes up her own Blanc & Eclare pieces with luxury accessories, such as with a Bulgari Serpenti Forever crossbody or an Hermès Kelly Danse. She can also dress them down – and chicly so – with Keds or a pair of Nikes, showcasing the versatility of Blanc & Eclare pieces and Jung’s styling expertise.

Still, Jung can rock full looks from different luxury brands when she wants to!

Despite her choice of simple and elegant styles, Jung can definitely carry a full designer look, too. She can go from sporty-meets-streetwear and casual-chic outfits by Givenchy and Celine, or turn up the glam in Valentino or Vera Wang.

And, like Jennie, she’s also modelled head-turning looks for Calvin Klein.

Because of her keen eye for what’s of the moment and trendy, Jung’s partnership goes beyond fashion brands as she has also been tapped for collaborations, such as when she created sleek and stylish phone accessories with Casetify in 2018 and designed an exclusive bag collection with Zalora in the same year. She was also named ambassador for beauty brand Revlon in 2020.
