Always elegant, feminine and classy, it’s no surprise that luxury brands across the world want Blackpink member Jisoo when it comes to partnerships.

Born Kim Ji-soo, the South Korean singer and actress boasts a reported fortune of US$20 million, per Celebrity Net Worth, a whopping 67 million followers on her Instagram and a growing fan base spanning the globe.
Adored by fans for her music, beauty and style, one of Jisoo’s most long-running and major partnerships to date include her being the global ambassador of Dior fashion and beauty. It’s a true match made in heaven as Jisoo has the looks and charm to pull off luxury pieces with streetwear, mix timeless with trendy and exude an innocent cuteness with swag – all remarkable traits valued by the new generation of fashion fans.
If you’re looking to replicate her style, or at least, cop a few of her favourites, here’s a list of the most iconic Dior bags she’s worn.
“The Jisoo Bag”

A Dior vintage, the Maris Pearl Trotter has been hailed as “the Jisoo bag” by her followers. It all started when she posted a ‘gram of her toting the mini bag in 2020, which she wore with a cotton candy-coloured jumper and a black skirt. The post gained at least four million likes – and sent dedicated Blackpink and fashion fans alike into a frenzy trying to score one for themselves.

As the design is no longer sold in stores, the only way to cop the 28-year-old Blackpink singer’s choice of vintage Dior is through resellers, where prices are between US$500 to US$1,250, per Koreaboo. Call it the Jisoo effect!
Lady Dior, Lady D-Lite and Lady D-Joy

A true classic and arguably the most iconic purse of the French fashion house, it’s no wonder Jisoo has it in multiple iterations and sizes, including one in the super chic and much coveted ultra-matt black edition.

The Lady Dior is famously known as the bag that was gifted to Lady Diana in 1995, courtesy of the then first lady of France. Later that year, Diana was seen carrying it en route to Argentina – a moment pictured in what would be heralded as an iconic fashion look many years later.

Diana reportedly ordered more colours of the boxy bag, particularly a navy blue one to match her eyes. Unofficially, the bag was named “Chouchou”, which is French for “favourite” until it earned its rightful nickname, Lady Dior, having become the princess’ accessory of choice.

A spin on the popular Lady Dior, the Lady D-Lite was first seen on the spring/summer 2020 runways. It didn’t take long before Jisoo was spotted carrying hers, a beige version with a leopard pattern, with her name embroidered across it.
The Lady Dior has also seen its horizontal format in the Lady D-Joy, which is just as chic and versatile, and the idol is known for adding cute Hello Kitty charms to hers.
Dior Saddle Bag

Designed by John Galliano in 1999, Dior’s Saddle Bag was the bag du jour at the turn of the millennium, as seen on style stars Paris Hilton, Mischa Barton, Sienna Miller and even SJP’s Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City.
In 2018, the Saddle made its comeback and, before long, it was being flaunted by models Bella Hadid and Elsa Hosk, actors Katie Holmes and Jessica Alba, and online influencers Aimee Song and Chriselle Lim, among many others, cementing its must-buy status.

To this day, with Y2K style still dominating trends off and on the runways, the Dior Saddle Bag remains an of-the-moment bag favoured by “It” girls. Jisoo herself has been spotted with the Saddle, which she’s dressed up to the nines with the Dior Bar jacket, and dressed down with a more casual ‘fit too.

Jisoo also fronted Dior’s ad featuring the Caro handbag, a design made as a tribute to Christian Dior’s sister, Catherine, fondly called “Caro”.
Dior Vibe Hobo Bag and Bobby Bag

Classics aside, the Blackpink singer likes to unleash her inner swag in her offstage outfits featuring the Dior Vibe Hobo Bag, distinct for its iconic half-moon shape, and the Bobby Bag. She also reportedly added a personalised pink bunny charm (which sold out) on her monogrammed Bobby.
The bespoke Dior

A true status symbol, reserved for only close friends of the house, Jisoo’s pet dog Dalgom was even gifted with a bespoke Dior bag – and it came with a handwritten note, too, as reported by Koreaboo.
