As one of the highest-paid K-drama queens, Song Hye-kyo’s love life has always sparked the curiosity of her fans and the media alike. Beautiful, talented and currently single, the A-list actress has been the subject of countless dating rumours with her co-stars. Some were officially confirmed, while others have remained unclear till this day.
Here are five of Song’s most famous co-stars that she has been romantically linked.

Lee Byung-hun (All In)

Song met Lee Byung-hun, best known from the G.I. Joe series, while they were filming the SBS television series All In (2003), in which Lee played the role of a professional gambler who fell deeply in love with dealer Min Su-yeon, played by Song. The film was a hit in South Korea and many other Asian countries for its captivating storyline that combined action and drama with a love triangle, as well as the chemistry between the main characters.
Much to fans’ excitement, Song and Lee later publicly announced that they were dating despite an 11-year age gap and Lee’s “bad boy” reputation. The couple broke up after little over a year in 2004.
Rain (Full House)

In 2004, Song made waves when she co-starred in TV series Full House (2004) with singer and actor Jung Ji-hoon – better known by his stage name, Rain. Many have credited the series with helping propel the Korean Wave.
The adorable contrast of Rain’s tall frame against the petite actress’, as well as their cute on-screen relationship, fuelled fan rumours about the two dating. However, both Song and Rain have repeatedly denied any romantic relationship, claiming they’re just friends and that Song is more like an older sister to Rain.
Rain has been happily married to actress Kim Tae-hee since 2017, with two children.

Hyun Bin (Worlds Within)

While it was certainly not her most successful film in terms of viewer ratings, Worlds Within (2008) lead to Song forming a close relationship with her co-star Hyun Bin of Crash Landing on You fame as they played on-screen lovebirds.
Hyun and Song publicly confirmed their relationship in 2009, but it unfortunately ended when Hyun enlisted in the army in 2011.
Song Joong-ki (Descendants of the Sun)

In 2017, K-drama fans were thrilled to watch Song’s romance with actor Song Joong-ki blossom with a lavish wedding. The Song-Song couple’s relationship began in 2016 when they met on the set of hit series Descendants of the Sun, where they played on-screen lovers.
Their wedding was covered extensively by various media outlets and the power couple seemed happy and in love … which was why fans were devastated when the their seemingly fairy tale marriage ended with a bitter divorce in less than two years.

Jang Ki-yong (Now, We Are Breaking Up)

Most recently, Song’s fans have been excited to hear rumours about her relationship with Jang Ki-yong, the lead actor in her highly anticipated new K-drama series Now, We Are Breaking Up (2021).
Although Song is 11 year his senior, many fans think their chemistry on-screen is undeniable, and netizens have spotted some suspiciously close interactions between the couple in behind-the-scenes photos, as reported by KBIZoom.
