The recent happenings and product releases in the world of beauty include an indulgent face balm from Chanel, Zendaya in a dramatic red carpet look, and the Dioriviera make-up collection that references Monsieur Dior’s country estate in the South of France.

Chanel Beauty

Those looking to replace their current moisturiser with a richer alternative should give Chanel Sublimage Le Baume a go. The nourishing face balm is formulated with intensive anti-ageing properties including polyfractionated vanilla planifolia, a patented active ingredient that helps to repair and regenerate dry or mature skin. It can also be used to soothe skin irritation after certain facial treatments and cosmetic procedures.
Dior Beauty

Monsieur Dior’s haunts in the French Riviera are an ongoing inspiration for Dior Beauty. The brand’s summer 2026 Dioriviera make-up collection features a variety of products inspired by the essence of the Château de La Colle Noire in Provence – Christian Dior’s beloved country estate. Favourites include the Dior Addict Lip Maximizer in Cerulean, which is a shimmering sky blue, and the limited edition Diorshow 5 Couleurs palettes in Summer Azur and Sunset Bronze.
Kayali

Interested in a seasonal scent swap? Kayali (“my imagination” in Arabic) has introduced fresh eau de parfums to its Eden Fragrance collection – Eden Sweet Peach 35 and Eden Plush Pear 23. Sweet and juicy, both concoctions blend fruity and floral notes with warm undertones. The brand, which is available at Sephora, was established by entrepreneur and Huda Beauty co-founder Mona Kattan in 2018.
La Mer

La Mer’s new The Rejuvenating Eye Cream addresses the entire eye area and is specially designed to reverse eight signs of ageing including puffiness, fine lines and sagging skin. It is infused with the brand’s cell-renewing Miracle Broth and rejuvenating protein compound-6 (RPC-6), which is a collagen-supporting formula that helps to lift and restore firmness.
Zendaya’s The Drama make-up look

Zendaya has set a trend for maximalist bridal make-up. For the New York premiere of her film The Drama, the actress sported metallic blue smoky eyes and heavy black eyeliner that matched her feathered Schiaparelli haute couture gown. The 29-year-old, who is reportedly now married to her long-time beau Tom Holland, riffed on the film’s wedding theme, choosing to wear something old, something new and something borrowed for the other premieres of the film. She completed her bold blue look with a shimmery bronzer on the cheekbones and glossy lips.
