Here’s our latest round-up of recent happenings and product releases from the world of beauty. On our radar this time, we’ve got Chanel’s understated yet striking make-up looks from the maison’s haute couture autumn/winter 2025 catwalk; Hermès Beauty’s special edition bundle of lipsticks, nail enamels and an eyeshadow palette; and much more.
Hermès

Hermès puts the spotlight on its limited edition autumn/winter 2025 make-up collection – three lipsticks, three nail enamels and an eye shadow palette – dreamed up by Gregoris Pyrpylis, creative director of Hermès Beauty. A study in geometry, the quartet of eye shadows neatly packages up a mix of autumnal tones including an iridescent purple and shimmering gold.
Comme des Garçons

Comme des Garçons Parfums recently celebrated the launch of its latest scent, Max Richter 01 eau de toilette, at Dover Street Market Paris. For the uninitiated, Richter is a German-British composer and pianist whose musical arrangements have provided the backdrop to numerous fashion week shows. Now, for his first foray into fragrances, Richter has chosen scents that evoke objects dear to him in his life and work.
Anna Sui

The Anna Sui limited edition Mini Lotion Kit contains five travel-sized phials that resemble magic potion bottles – each one named and formulated for a specific skincare purpose: cool, rich, plumping, clear and smoothing. The whole kit comes in a delightful tin featuring a floral motif characteristic of the New York-based designer.
Chanel

At the Chanel haute couture autumn/winter 2025 show – the last collection to be designed by the maison’s Creation Studio before new creative director Matthieu Blazy took over – models sported a flipped bun and an elevated take on the clean make-up aesthetic. One of this year’s hottest beauty trends involves using neutral eyeshadows alongside cream and liquid products to create a dewy, glowing base. The catwalk stars’ radiant yet understated appearances coordinated well with the looks on the runway, particularly those featuring chunky tweed as well as beige and white hues.
Prada Beauty

We’re not the least bit surprised that Spider-Man’s Tom Holland has been chosen as the global ambassador and face of Prada Beauty’s men’s fragrance, Prada Paradigme eau de parfum. The British actor has been rocking sophisticated pieces from the maison for quite some time now. This newly released scent, which plays with the idea of modern masculinity, was made in collaboration with three leading perfume makers and features a mix of amber and woody notes.
La Mer

The new Balancing Treatment Lotion from La Mer is specifically designed for those with oily skin. The hydrating formula, which contains lime tea, marine balancing bio-algae and the skincare brand’s cell-renewing Miracle Broth, aims to refine the skin’s texture and reduce shine.
Rituals Cosmetics

Rituals Cosmetics’ The Ritual of Yozakura collection comprises everyday products, ranging from a foaming shower gel to whipped body cream. The fragrance is enriched with Yoshino cherry and black rice extract.
