New menus are the focus this weekend. Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland-inspired Central cocktail bar The Green Door launches a new series of signatures in collaboration with local indie band Mr Koo. ICYMI, Peridot also launched its second terroir-focused menu, this time paying homage to the mezcal-making mecca of Oaxaca.

Meanwhile, there’s no better way to start the weekend than with a party, so head down to Artifact as the basement speakeasy celebrates its third anniversary.

Kick off the weekend with a basement party (of sorts). Artifact, the futuristic speakeasy located at Basehall on the basement level of Jardine House, is celebrating its third anniversary.

The bar is known for its focus on experimental flavours: the Summer Games cocktail, for example, combines Maker’s Mark Kentucky Bourbon with pepper jack, caramelised onion, watermelon and arugula to create a savoury, refreshing drink perfect for the warming weather.

On the decks for the night is multifaceted, genre-bending DJ Gargoyle Girlfriend, who blends techno, trance, house and more.
