Your Hong Kong Sevens weekend food guide for April 17-19
Enjoy delicious treats at Dorsett Kai Tak’s rugby village, a sea cucumber menu at The Murray, and a taste of Singaporean pastries at Common Man Coffee Roasters’ pop-up

As Hongkongers flock to Kai Tak for the Sevens this weekend, the city’s dining scene delivers the perfect match day sides. Think a free-entry rugby village, an ideal spot to recharge over the action-packed weekend; a nourishing luxury sea cucumber set menu at The Murray hotel; and a pop-up featuring famed Singaporean brand Tiong Bahru Bakery for Sunday recovery.
Friday, April 17

For a Sevens-weekend pick that works as well for rugby fans as it does for families (and dogs), Dorsett Kai Tak’s Wine & Dine Village, which takes place from April 17 to 19 with free admission, offers alfresco dining and a lively bazaar just steps from Kai Tak Stadium.
Expect a wide-ranging food line-up that includes bites from Le Salon de Thé de Joël Robuchon and Taiwanese cold noodles specialist Moon Xiang Nong. There’ll also be DJ sets and live entertainment from Red Bull, while family-friendly activities include face painting, a photo booth, a costume competition and a dedicated Pawsome Playground with dog treats and toys.
