He has served as correspondent, presenter and line producer for former regional news broadcaster Star News Asia. He has reported for Hong Kong broadcaster TVB and at Reuters TV in Japan. He also did stints at Tokyo-based Kyodo News Service and at NBC and ABC affiliated TV news operations in the US state of Minnesota.
