It has been nearly a decade since our last broadsheet refresh. While our current layout is a classic, award-winning design, reading habits have evolved drastically alongside disruptive technology.

This latest print redesign is much more than a facelift. It reflects the changing role of the printed newspaper – less a medium for breaking news, and more a showcase for in-depth analysis, unique visual presentation, and thoughtful curation. By adding more breathing room to our layout, we are prioritising readability over crowding pages with extra text. While digital platforms are now our primary medium, print remains our premium product, cherished by readers who value the tactile, curated experience that physical copies provide.
We are also introducing a new identity for the Sunday Morning Post, bringing a fresher, more vibrant design to your weekend reading.
Simultaneously, we are rolling out upgraded features across our homepage and mobile apps, powered by cutting-edge AI. These tools will fundamentally transform how you search and discover stories within our extensive historical archive. We have also reduced loading times and minimised repetitive advertising while introducing richer visual and audio features.
Because every reader’s preferences are unique, our digital platforms will offer greater personalisation. At the same time, we remain committed to preventing “filter bubbles” – ensuring critical news stories continue to be selected by our senior editors with decades of experience.
